We've designed a progressive learning path that builds your financial skills systematically. Each phase focuses on practical application with real business scenarios.
Financial Foundations
Start with core accounting principles and financial statement analysis. You'll work with actual business cases from Australian companies, learning to read balance sheets and understand cash flow patterns. This phase takes about 6 weeks with weekly practical exercises.
Business Analysis
Learn to evaluate business performance using financial metrics. We'll cover ratio analysis, trend identification, and risk assessment methods. Students practice with real financial data and present their findings to peers for feedback.
Strategic Planning
Develop budgeting and forecasting skills for business planning. This includes scenario modeling, capital allocation decisions, and investment evaluation. Each student completes a comprehensive business plan with financial projections.
Applied Projects
Work on real consulting projects with local businesses needing financial analysis. Students form teams and apply their skills to solve actual problems, presenting recommendations to business owners at program completion.
